Supervisory Committee
The Act relating to Registration of Financial Instruments requires a securities depository to have a supervisory committee with at least three members, elected by the General Meeting. The Supervisory Committee oversees the company’s compliance with laws, regulations and the terms of its licence, along with the Articles of Association and decisions reached by the company’s governing bodies, and evaluates security aspects of the company’s operations.
Complaints Board for VPS ASA
The Act relating to Registration of Financial Instruments requires a Complaints Board for a Central Securities Depository. VPS ASA has an independent Complaints Board.
