New companies in April

When a company is registered with VPS, the traditional share register is replaced by an electronic register. This gives the company easy and efficient access to information on its shareholders via a web-based application.

Over a thousand companies have recognised the advantages of being VPS-registered. Only a few of these are, however, obliged to register their shares with VPS, including Norwegian public limited liability companies and companies of any nationality that are listed on Oslo Børs (the Oslo stock exchange).
