The world is currently in an unprecedented situation and we understand there is a lot of uncertainty both from a financial and personal perspective. We all have to adapt and give our best effort in these testing times.
Situation update, week 12
Euronext VPS has strengthened its efforts and measures concerning the COVID-19 situation. The management group has invoked the Crisis Management Team which are having daily meetings regarding the situation, and are working closely with the Norwegian FSA and the central bank of Norway.
Furthermore, most of the staff are working remote from home, but we would like to emphasize that we are fully operational with critical personnel on site.
Our facilities, systems and events
We maintain a minimum number of on premises employees, restricted to key personnel in the CMT, infrastructure, operations and the settlement team. The remaining staff are reporting minimum issues working from home.
Internal physical meetings are reduced to a minimum, and we encourage our customers to contact us via email or phone during this time. Meetings will only occur over phone or video conference. Consequently we’ve increased our bandwidth in order to handle the escalated traffic on these types of solutions. Our offices are closed for all visitors.
All events and business travels are for the time being canceled.
Euronext VPS together with Oslo Børs and Euronext seeks to coordinate relevant continuity preparedness and measures, and performs regular monitoring of the situation. The Euronext Group has a daily group-wide BCP call with update of the situation and where policy adjustments are discussed
